Project : Blow Heat Recovery System
1. Design and Detailing of Pressure vessels, Spray Condensers, Cyclones, Water filters, Storage Tanks, etc.
2. Preparation of G.A, equipment layout, piping ( floor wise and isometric view), process and instrumentation drawings.

Codes used : ASME Section VIII, Division 1, BIS and Good Engineering

Consultant : Thakur Associates, Pondicherry

Description : Preparation of Process flow diagram, design and detailing of all equipments, as mentioned above as per the respective design codes, preparation of bill of quantities for pipes, plates, valves, etc.
Preparation of specification, floating enquires on respective vendors and negotiation for pipes, plates, valves, plate heat exchanges, complete instrumentation and electrical including control panels, etc. Erection and commissioning supervision for entire project.

Project : Material conveying system (on turn key basis)

Scope of work : Our scope of work involves design, detailing, preparation of pipe line layout, supply of equipment, work supervision, erection of equipment, pipe line (PVC) laying, commissioning and handing over the system as a whole in running condition.

Description : Preparation of Process flow diagram, design and detailing of all equipments, as mentioned above as per the respective design codes, preparation of bill of quantities for pipes, plates, valves, etc.

INSTRUMENTATION PHYLOSOPHY:

This system is suitable to run either manually or automatically. Always the agitator in the sump will be running to avoid the settlement of solids and uniform mixing. Once the sump is filled up a pre determined level by sensing of this will be done through a level indicator and then the single will be passed to the pump to start to pump the mixture to the collection tanks through a buffer tank. Similarly by sensing the low level through the level indicator the pump trip off. Each sump will provide 2 sets of level sensing elements to sense effectively. Once the process pump stops after few seconds the hot water pump starts pumping the hot water for a specified period for every operation at pressure of 5 kg/sq.cm to flush out the delivery line.
 
ADVANTAGES OF REVISED SYSTEM OVER THE EARLIER ONE:
 
  • This system can be run either automatically or manually.

  • As there are no other valves on the delivery line, expect the non return valve,there will not be any problem with choking / clogging

  • As there are no pneumatic / electric automatic valves this system is a maintenance free system

  • There are no PLCs in the system the cost of the project can be reduced by 20% of the last offer value.

  • 100% flushing will be done in this system and 50% more water supplying

  • Minimum and maximum percentage of solids can be maintained easily, as the hot water quantity is fixed which we know also.

  • With the addition of the agitators one can ensure that the mixing of solids and liquid will be uniform by which we can reduce the choking / clogging in the pump.
